Recently, I had the privilege of shooting Vanessa Rogers, a local Portland musician. We met at an art opening where she was performing, and I instantly fell in love with her melodic voice, as well as her songs, that instantaneously were stuck in my head. Here are just some of the photos that we captured on out shoot. This is the third time that we have shot, the other two times have been with her husband and two year old daughter. These photos are some of my favorite from that day. Soft light, combined with natural soft grace of my client. Her true nature reflects in these photos. There is elegance, and grace. A softness, a sweetness to her, that not just carries from these photos, but is her true nature. Last month I did a shoot for Valentine’s Day. Setting the theme of the shoot to boudoir glamour, and this being my first time to shoot boudoir, I enlisted some help from my friends. My goal is to eventually show some of the before and afters of this shoot, and to bring awareness to all women that you don’t have to be a model or a size 2 in order to pose in a glamour shoot. There will be a longer post in the upcoming month, will all of my favorites from this session. For now, here is one of my gorgeous friends who trusted me enough to capture her beauty. |
